We currently have approximately 5,000 people employed across our sites. People are recruited into the company through:
Standard Training Programmes:
- Graduates
30 Graduates are recruited each year. These are mainly mechanical & electrical engineers and naval architects but we will consider other engineering disciplines. We also look for scientists, specifically physicists and health physicists. In addition we regularly seek individuals with business or human resource degrees. In support of our graduate recruitment we provide:- Summer placements
- Sandwich placements
- Sponsorships
- Apprentices
50 Apprentices are recruited each year for our Marine Engineering Apprenticeship.
Other Vacancies
Generally we are looking for experienced professionals, managers and engineering specialists. Vacancies range across a multitude of disciplines including engineering (with nuclear or marine experience), business development, commercial and procurement.
We are also looking for craftsmen/women in a variety of marine trades.
Agency Opportunities
At any given time there are approximately 500 agency personnel working in our facilities.
It is company policy that all agency workers are recruited through Matchtech, our preferred agency, which provides an on-site managed service.
